Philanthropy Australia and Sidney Myer Fund & The Myer Foundation Partnership Event
Event description
Join Philanthropy Australia and Sidney Myer Fund & The Myer Foundation for a discussion about philanthropy and ending homelessness with Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellow David Pearson.
The Myer Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund’s Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellowships support breakthrough solutions to Australia’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. David leads the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness, working to significantly expand the network of individuals, organisations and communities committed to not just addressing or reducing homelessness - but to ending it.
This session will examine the ground breaking approach successfully rolled out in over 100 communities in the USA and Canada, and explore support for local efforts to end homelessness in Australia.

David Pearson, CEO, Australian Alliance to End Homelessness, and 2020 Kenneth Myer Innovation FellowÂ

He has worked towards this goal in a range of roles in the community, government, university and philanthropic sectors, including currently as the CEO of the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness. Before this he helped lead the establishment of the Adelaide Zero Project, a collective impact initiative of over 45 organisations all working together to end street homelessness in Adelaide’s inner city.
